I recently changed my Ad Code form Insert Code to Remote Read and I have noticed a massive increase in the Daily Impressions that mysimpleads now reports.
The daily stats are so large now they even eclispe the amount of page views my whole site gets, even on ad spots that do not appear on all my pages, so the stats are cleary incorrect.
I think the impression counting has a problem with the Remote Read code, it seems each impression is counted twice or maybe three times.

I have done some testing and it doesnt seem to count impressions multiple times like I suspected it was, so it must be something else.
I am now thinking search engine bots (or similiar) must be bumping up the impressions with the Remote Read code and that it must ignore these visits with the Insert Code. Is that a possabilty and if so, can it be corrected?
Do you still need my account login details?

They should both plop down the same ad on the site. If you look at the source code of the website, do the resulting banner code or whatever they might be look different?

There is definitely an issue. My site did a round 15,000 page views today and for example, I have a spot that shows two adverts (that isnt on every page). mysimpleads is reporting over 37,000 views on each banner, thats over 70,000 banner views which isnt possible with the page views the site did.
Out of interest, before I was running the Insert Code via iframe but I switched to Remote Read directly on the page, so it is either the Remote Code or the iframe.
Does your stat tracking try to determine if the impression was shown to a real person or a bot? My stats tracking doesnt count impressions from search engine bots etc which is why I suspect the difference may be due to that.

Is anyone else experiencing wildly inaccurate stats from mysimpleads when compared to actual page views?
Sort of make it hard to sell ads by impressions, but other than that it is a great product.
