Perhaps I'm missing it, but I'd like to set up 1 advertiser and let that advertiser load several banners to their account and have the system rotate through & track each banner's performance so they can weed out the ones that don't pull clicks.
Right now, I have to create a new ad for each banner I want to use for an advertiser.
Now, I could be missing something here

- But, do you not want to just create a series of Ads, put them in an Ad Group, and then just disable the ones that aren't performing well over time?

I think he means a new system whereby we have '1 ad scheduled' and each ad can have a 'family' of banners associated with it. so It's one billable item of inventory. so such an item could have anything from 1 to 16 banners, for example.
Like a company I once worked for, where the in-house ad system had packages, and families, and what-have-you. A package was a specific type of group of ads, each of which had a banner-family. could be one graphic, or 16 graphics, or whatever the media type was.
The system could then retire (delete) banners which didn't attract sufficient clickthrus, but keeping at least one banner running - no point in deleting them all as it's still a running contract.
I like the idea of allowing each ad to have multiple creatives. It is much better than having to add each add multiple times then trying to work out the weighting.
So, basically an auto-weighting system? Place the ads in an Ad Group - put that Ad Group code on the website, then as various banners do better or worse, increase or lower their weights.
Sound about right?
Thanks.

What I would like to see is the option to add multiple banners to a single Ad. When mysimpleads displays an advert for that ad, it simply picks one of the banners and displays it. You could then look at making mysimpleads show each banner for the ad evenly or include weighing for that particular ad so certain banners for that ad get shown more. You may also want to have a sub set of stats to show the impressions each banner for that ad has shown and the clicks etc.
Currrently if you have an advetiser with say 10 different banners who has purcahased 1 ad spot, you have to add 10 different ads for that advertiser, then try to adjust the weighting so his 10 ads only show the same amount of impressions as 1 ad in the same group.
cheers
